Our group encourages new problem statements and new perspective on existing problem even outside of the focused area.

How to Apply?

If you are interested in any of the above position, please submit the following three files to us over email:

  1. Read any paper of the group available at the publication section of this site or in https://sumankundu.info. Create an explaination video of your understanding with python Manim package (https://www.manim.community). Submit both the python file and the video.

    • (Optional) You may include what you can contribute to that work.
    • (Alternative) You may use any quality paper from the internet that intersect with the group’s interest and your interest for this task.
  2. Write a cover letter stating the following three points: (a) motivation for the position, (b) why should I hire you and (c) research interests. The letter should have at least 1000 words but not more than 2000 words. (Advice: dont use AI tools like Chat GPT or Claud or Gemni etc.)

  3. Your detailed CV. Please do not send one page Resume. Your CV should include detailed academic records, development and research projects undertaken (highlighting, no of team members and your contributions) and your skillsets.

Aditional Notes for Internship Applications:

  1. We do not prefer short term internship. If interested for internship, it must be at least for a semester (4 months).
  2. Your CV should include semester wise your favourite subject(s).
  3. Expected starting date and how long you are available for the internship.
  4. There is no fellowship for internship at the point of entry. However, if the collaboration results in fruitful outcome, you may get one.
